Etude House Playhouse Event 2012

Last Sunday, I attended the "Etude House Pink Fair 2012 Day 2!" It's actually a 2-day event (April 21-22, 2012) but I only got a chance to attend the 2nd Day. This kind of event is a good way for Etude House Philippines to give thanks to its EH Princes and Princesses. ^_^

The Etude House Playhouse Event was taken place at SM City North The Block Atrium. Princes and Princesses who got tickets could enter the said pink fair. The registration started at 1PM and the program proper was from 2PM-7PM. After signing in the registration area, I was given a marker and asked by Etude's staff to write on their EH Wall.

Etude House Graffiti Wall
I took a picture of what I wrote in the wall and you can see it on the right side of the photo. Yes, it's written in Korean. Can you guess what it is? ^^

The event was hosted by Ms. Earth Philippines 2007, Ms. Jeanne Harn and the opening remarks was given by Etude House Philippines President, Ms. Andrea Amado. This event was fully loaded with beauty and fashion seminars, fun games and activities, performances, free snacks, raffle prizes and other freebies.

Beauty and Fashion Seminars

Etude House Global Specialist Mr. Boram Kim and Fashion Academy Manila's Mr. Levenson Rodriguez

Etude House Global Specialist Mr. Boram Kim presented a topic about acne and its treatment wherein he talked about how to prevent and treat pimples and serious acne to have beautiful skin. He also mentioned about Etude House AC Clinic Skin Care Kit and the benefits of using this product line. There was also a representative from Fashion Academy Manila- Mr. Levenson Rodriguez who talked about Power Dressing and its importance. For the Beauty Class 101, Ms. Younhee Kang of Etude House Korea Global Make-up Artist gave make-up tutorials.

Free Yummy Snacks

Free Snacks!
All attendees of this event were given free yummy snacks such as Tous Les Jours Macaroons, a choice of Selecta Cornetto Disc Ice Cream or Tour Les Jours Bread, Popcorn and Pink Cotton Candy.

Fun Activities, Games and a Lot More!

Etude House Free Facial Care and Make-over
There's free facial care and make-over for everyone who attended this event but I wasn't able to try these things because of long lines.

FUN GAMES: Who Am I - Doll Me Up - Goal In! Pink Powder Spot - Sweetie's Spin
For the game, Who Am I, I was able to throw 2 out of 3 balls and got a Moistfull Collagen Trial Kit. All colored balls have their own corresponding product. For the second picture which was Doll Me Up game, you will fix Sandara's face blindfolded. I think everybody won this game because EH staff guided everybody while playing this game. The prizes for this game were Shinee Folders and Nymph Aura Volumer Sample. Next game was Goal In! Pink Powder Spot. I was able to shoot 2 out of 3 cotton buds to the pink powder spot container. Oh, why always only two, why not perfect score?! haha! Anyway, I got an AC Clinic Trial Kit as the prize for this game. The last picture was the game, Sweetie's Spin. Unfortunately, I didn't win in this game but was given a consolation prize of a Be Clear Moisturizer Sample. hehe! :)

Photobooth
I love this one simply because I like picture-taking! haha! You will be given four shots and you can have the copy of your photo right away. So nice! This is courtesy of Smile and Pose Photobooth.

Free magazine from Meg
You can have a free magazine from Meg by simply clicking like to Meg's Facebook Page.

Missing U Mascots, Pink Mimes and Ballerina
Kids love them and many attendees took pictures with them. Mine doesn't look good so I decided not to post here. hehe!

Pink Car
Oh, I love the color and how cute it is with ribbon and lashes. How I wish this was included in their raffle prizes! I want this pink car! haha!

Freebies, Raffle and Game Prizes

These are the freebies, raffle and game prizes I got from Etude House Pink Fair.

I had to leave the event around 5PM so I wasn't able to finish Ms. Stephanie Dan's acoustic performance as well as Ms. Younhee Kang's Beauty Class 101. The winner of the Etude House Pink Artiste Contest was also announced in the said event.

I want to congratulate Etude House Philippines for coming up with this kind of wonderful event. I must say that I really enjoyed Etude House Philippines 1st Pink Fair Event and I hope EH Philippines will have more fun events in the future.

Karaoke at Redbox

Redbox is a place to sing-along, dine and play. It is definitely a place for family, couples, and friends who love singing. They have branches in Trinoma, Greenbelt, Eastwood and Cebu. Please see my review below to know more about this Karaoke hub.

It was my eight time at Redbox and I have been to Redbox Star Trinoma and Redbox Greenbelt. My first time was way back in 2009 at Trinoma branch. This time, I went to Redbox Star Trinoma with my friends Kathy and Emily. We made a reservation for the Elvis Hour which was 199 pesos per head. That includes use of Karaoke room for 2 hours (12NN-2PM) and set lunch. We had to place an order for our drinks because it's not included. I can say that I like the previous segment before wherein I can avail the use of Karaoke room for 3 hours plus buffet lunch or dinner which only costs around 300 pesos. They had that kind of segment about a year ago or maybe 2 years ago. hehe!

With my friends Emily and Kathy

Here are photos during our Karaoke Time at Redbox Star Trinoma:

Sing Sing Sing!

The size of your room will depend upon how many people will use the room. If you are coming here with a large group of people, they will provide you a bigger room. In our case, we were assigned in a smaller room because we're only three. It is better to always make a reservation because their rooms are always full. I can say that the rooms are good. It is sound-proof and it is very comfortable to sit on the couch. ^^

While choosing our songs in the playlist
We were provided 2 microphones and a remote control. If it is your first time to come here and you don't know how to choose a song in the playlist, don't be shy to ask their staffs because they are willing to assist you about that. You can also use the phone in the room and dial the customer service number if you need something and someone will go to your room to help and assist you.

Aside from singing, you can also watch music videos or concerts from their playlist. You may want to switch to watching MVs while eating your meal. What I like about Redbox is that their playlist is updated with new songs. You may find Taylor Swift, Katy Perry's songs and other songs from your favorite artist. They have songs from American, Filipino and Chinese singers.

Set Lunch for the day
Well, that's the set lunch for that day. We were asked to choose either pork or chicken for our main dish. They also served some vegetables and sweets. We placed an order of iced tea for our drinks. I wish Redbox bring back their buffet style of lunch or dinner. I was kinda surprised when I found out that they changed it to a set meal.

Anyway, I like Redbox mainly because of their list of songs in their playlist and their comfortable, sound-proof rooms. My friends and I always choose Redbox whenever we want to sing along because of its good atmosphere.

Tony and Jackey's Perm Service

Actually, I had my hair permed at Tony and Jackey a year ago. I went to SM Fairview branch to have my hair permed. I can say that I was satisfied with the service and the outcome. Please read my detailed review below. I am going to  review Tony and Jackey's perm service as per request of one of my subscribers.

Tony and Jackey is a Korean salon in the Philippines. This salon is famous for its Korean way of hair service. It is known for hair perm, hair rebond, hair color, haircut etc. All of their stylists are Koreans which are assisted by Filipino staffs.

My Review:

I like Tony and Jackey's perm service because of the following reasons:

1. Hair Perm lasts long- In my case, it lasted more than 6 months until I decided to have straight hair again. I really took care of my hair during its perm days..hehe! ^_^

2. Quick Procedure- The overall procedure for my hair to get permed only took an hour so I did not wait too long to have my new desired hair style.

3. Modern Facilities- They use modern facilities/machines for hair perming. It's really amazing. ^0^

4. Accommodating and Friendly staffs- The one who made my hair permed is a Korean female stylist. The salon has Filipina staffs who will do the hair shampoo, hair blow as well as machine operation. They are all nice.

Here are photos of my Tony and Jackey's Perm Experience
T&J uses this machine for hair perming

Don't worry this will only last for few minutes..

Goldilocks hair! ^_^

 Here's the Outcome
At Home

After Few Months
Curls still look pretty and even more better.. ^_^
The step by step procedure of Tony and Jackey's perm service package includes hair shampoo, haircut, application of L'oreal Digital Perm medicine, Hair Manicure and Treatment. It costs Php 5,000. In my case, I chose the Php3,000 package- no haircut and hair treatment. Before I went to T&J Salon, I had my hair cut first in other salon. And I thought, I didn't need a treatment too because I had my hair dyed with hair treatment a week before that day. However, I've realized that it's better if I chose the 1st package for better results. hehehe! If only I wasn't on budget at that time, I would choose the complete perm package. It's really worth it! ^_^

Overall, I was satisfied with their perm service! The curls still look good after few months and I really love it! I will definitely go to Tony and Jackey Salon if I want my hair to be permed again. ^_^

Tip: According to T&J's Korean stylists, the perm will look best on layered hair.
