I was born with fair skin but I could not help but be fond of whitening products. Not because I am not satisfied with the color of my skin but because I want to maintain and achieve a more glowing even skin tone. hehe! I have been an avid user of Nivea Body Lotion/Moisturizer for few years now. I personally like Nivea Extra Whitening Cell Repair and Protect Body Milk Lotion and have been using this variant for more than 5 years now. Even though, it does not have an SPF, it moisturizes my skin well and improves my skin tone. Actually, when I go to the beach, I only trust Nivea Sunblock and I can say that it's effective as a sunscreen because it always works on me. I used Nivea Sunscreen when I went to Boracay and Laiya Batangas. ^_^
When I saw the new product of Nivea which is "Nivea UV Whitening Body Serum" at Watsons store, I did not hesitate to purchase it. First of all, I got it because it is a body whitening product and having SPF 25 is a bonus. hehe! I also want to try how this serum will work on my skin. It will be my first time to try a serum on my body. I was told by the sales crew that compared to other body lotions with SPF, this one isn't sticky because it is in serum type. Oh I really do not like sticky lotion on my body. hehe!

My Review:
I have tried a lot of body lotions with SPF but I always ended up with not purchasing those lotions again because of the sticky feeling they gave me. Before Nivea UV Whitening Body Serum was launched, I was using Nivea Extra Whitening Cell Repair and Protect Body Milk Lotion. As I have said, I was satisfied with the effect of this product on my skin even though it does not have an SPF. Now that Nivea has launched their new whitening body product which has Sun Protection Factor, it is time for me to level up! hehe! I have been wanting to use a non-sticky body moisturizer with SPF! haha! And it is in a form of serum so your skin can easily absorb it. Please see my review below and keep reading. ^_^
Packaging: Nivea UV Whitening Body Serum is a 200ML tube of innovation that provides a 14-day intensive whitening treatment for our body. The packaging of the product is very informative as you can see all the benefits you can get from this body serum on the tube. I also like how I can easily squeeze the serum from the tube. Even though this product is one size only, it won't be a problem to me because I prefer buying big tubes or bottles of beauty products than their smaller versions.
Price: Php 219.00 for 200ML ~ It is a serum product but Very affordable! Isn't it? Love it!
Effectivity of the Product:
I have been using Nivea UV Whitening Body Serum for almost 2 weeks now after shower and I can say that unlike other products with SPF, this one is non-sticky, lightweight and absorbs faster on skin. I have also noticed that my skin glows, feels smooth, soft and moisturized throughout the day. I do not have to worry about being exposed to sun because this serum has a Sun Protection Formula of SPF 25 PA ++ ! Oh, I love it! As for whitening effect, I can notice that my skin tone improves as day goes by. All I want is to achieve a more even skin tone. And maintain my fair skin tone ofcourse! hehe! I can't wait to see if this product will really make my skin fairer, as fair as Snow White! hahaha! Let's see! So far, I am satisfied with this product and I will continue to use this serum as my daily body moisturizer. I am loving it! ^_^
