Product Review: Nivea UV Whitening Body Serum

I was born with fair skin but I could not help but be fond of whitening products. Not because I am not satisfied with the color of my skin but because I want to maintain and achieve a more glowing even skin tone. hehe! I have been an avid user of Nivea Body Lotion/Moisturizer for few years now. I personally like Nivea Extra Whitening Cell Repair and Protect Body Milk Lotion and have been using this variant for more than 5 years now. Even though, it does not have an SPF, it moisturizes my skin well and improves my skin tone. Actually, when I go to the beach, I only trust Nivea Sunblock and I can say that it's effective as a sunscreen because it always works on me. I used Nivea Sunscreen when I went to Boracay and Laiya Batangas. ^_^

When I saw the new product of Nivea which is "Nivea UV Whitening Body Serum" at Watsons store, I did not hesitate to purchase it. First of all, I got it because it is a body whitening product and having SPF 25 is a bonus. hehe! I also want to try how this serum will work on my skin. It will be my first time to try a serum on my body. I was told by the sales crew that compared to other body lotions with SPF, this one isn't sticky because it is in serum type. Oh I really do not like sticky lotion on my body. hehe!

My Review:  

I have tried a lot of body lotions with SPF but I always ended up with not purchasing those lotions again because of the sticky feeling they gave me. Before Nivea UV Whitening Body Serum was launched, I was using Nivea Extra Whitening Cell Repair and Protect Body Milk Lotion. As I have said, I was satisfied with the effect of this product on my skin even though it does not have an SPF. Now that Nivea has launched their new whitening body product which has Sun Protection Factor, it is time for me to level up! hehe! I have been wanting to use a non-sticky body moisturizer with SPF! haha! And it is in a form of serum so your skin can easily absorb it. Please see my review below and keep reading. ^_^

Packaging: Nivea UV Whitening Body Serum is a 200ML tube of innovation that provides a 14-day intensive whitening treatment for our body. The packaging of the product is very informative as you can see all the benefits you can get from this body serum on the tube. I also like how I can easily squeeze the serum from the tube. Even though this product is one size only, it won't be a problem to me because I prefer buying big tubes or bottles of beauty products than their smaller versions.
 
Price: Php 219.00 for 200ML ~ It is a serum product but Very affordable! Isn't it? Love it!

Effectivity of the Product:

I have been using Nivea UV Whitening Body Serum for almost 2 weeks now after shower and I can say that unlike other products with SPF, this one is non-sticky, lightweight and absorbs faster on skin. I have also noticed that my skin glows, feels smooth, soft and moisturized throughout the day. I do not have to worry about being exposed to sun because this serum has a Sun Protection Formula of SPF 25 PA ++ ! Oh, I love it! As for whitening effect, I can notice that my skin tone improves as day goes by. All I want is to achieve a more even skin tone. And maintain my fair skin tone ofcourse! hehe! I can't wait to see if this product will really make my skin fairer, as fair as Snow White! hahaha! Let's see! So far, I am satisfied with this product and I will continue to use this serum as my daily body moisturizer. I am loving it! ^_^

Product Review: Skin Food Black Sugar Mask Wash Off

Well, I got this "Skin Food Black Sugar Mask Wash Off" few months ago. It was given to me as a gift as seen on my Hauls, Gifts and Freebies section. My skin is somehow sensitive so I am a bit hesitant to try it at first. I just decided to use it yesterday and my experience about this product was good. Please see my review below.

Skin Food Black Sugar Mask Wash Off

Description:

* It is a black sugar mask with rich minerals and vitamin to provide luster and smoothness to skin.
* It is a special food therapy for the skin to eat.
* It contains lots of nutritive and energetic ingredients such as fresh plants, fruits and etc. to maintain skin healthy and lively.

Price: Perhaps it costs around 500 pesos in the Philippines for 100g. I am not sure because I just got mine from Korea. (I will post the price here after checking it at Skin Food store.) ^ ^

Skin Food Black Sugar Mask Wash Off Sample Pack

My Review:

I have tried other Skin Food skincare products before but this will be my first for the mask.You have to do cleansing before you use this black sugar mask. In my case, I used Pond's Clear Solutions Anti-Bacterial Facial Scrub first. Then after cleansing my face with this Pond's Facial Wash, I gently massaged the Skin Food Black Sugar Mask over my wet face.You have to avoid the eye area and rinse off afterwards. The mask looks more of a brown sugar and it smells like "lemon" to me. Though it is color brown, you won't notice it when you spread it all over your face. It is a facial scrub and the brown granules dissolve well after massaging it on face. What I experienced about this product was it felt like my face becomes smoother and clearer after using this mask wash off. My face felt clean and soft too. However, I also experienced a little itchiness on my face after using it. Perhaps, it's just normal when trying a product for the first time. On the other hand, it is a good facial scrub and mask. I think this mask is good if you want to achieve a smoother skin. It would be better if you use this Black Sugar Mask Wash Off once a week before bed time and you will have a more glowing and softer skin when you wake up in the morning.

Product Review: Etude House Happy Tea Time Cleansing Foam (Peach Tea)

When Etude House came to the Philippines, the first item that I bought was the "Etude House Happy Tea Time Cleansing Foam (Peach Tea)". I was curious about the new beauty store and I was also looking for a good facial wash at that time. My skin is sensitive so I am very careful with any product that I will use or apply on my face. I was very happy to find Etude House Happy Tea Time Cleansing Foam (Peach Tea). I have been using it for almost a year and I really love it!

My Review:

Although, I have tried a lot of cosmetics from Etude House, the only facial cleanser that I've tried and used was the Happy Tea Time Cleansing Foam (Peach Tea). I use this facial wash twice a day- morning and night time. I had three good reasons why I was tempted to buy this facial foam when I first saw it. First is, it has brightening formula. I have been using this facial cleanser for a long time so I can notice that it somehow gives a brightening effect on me. It also makes my skin soft and I almost not get a pimple breakout at all when washing my face with this cleanser. Second, it has a Peach Tea extract. Oh, I love fruity scents. The peach scent of this cleanser is really relaxing for me. I feel refreshed! Third, the price is reasonable. You can purchase it for only 148 pesos for 150ML. And this cleansing foam lasts for few months. When you buy it, you can easily notice that the facial foam is creamy and its color is white. I don't know why, but I feel that my face becomes softer when I wash my face with this cleansing foam. It can washes off your make-up too but make sure to use an eye make-up remover for waterproof eye make-up. In my case, I also use toner and moisturizer after washing my face with Etude House Happy Tea Time Cleansing Foam (Peach Tea). I think this facial cleanser is best for people with normal skin. Overall, I'm satisfied with this product.

Product Review: Pond's Clear Solutions Anti-Bacterial Facial Scrub

 I have started using Pond's Facial Wash when I was still in highschool. Since then, Pond's has become part of my everyday beauty regimen. My favorite is the Anti-Bacterial Facial Scrub and I've been always satisfied with the result. Few months ago, Pond's launched the new Pond's Anti-Bacterial Facial Scrub and I got attracted to try it because it is now formulated with Herbal Clay.

Pond's Clear Solutions Anti-Bacterial Facial Scrub

Description:

* It removes dirt, oil and make-up from deep inside pores

My Review:

 I use this Pond's Anti-Bacterial Facial Scrub two times a day- every morning and night. I really like it in a way that it helps prevent pimple breakouts. Since we can't avoid getting pimples or acne breakouts due to stress, pollution, weather and other factors, I use this facial wash when I get a pimple and I can notice that it helps your pimple heal faster. The color of the facial wash is somehow looks white with green beads. It is equipped with herbal clay to bid excess oil and fights pimple-causing bacteria. What I like more about this cleanser is it effectively washes off my make-up so my face really feels clean before going to bed.

After cleansing with Pond's Facial Wash, I also use toner then apply a day cream every morning and a night cream at night time. Sometimes, washing your face tends to make your skin dry so you have to use a face moisturizer/cream/lotion to keep your face soft and moisturized.
