Sulit Clique Event

Last October 24, 2012, I attended the 1st ever Sulit blogger event "SULIT CLIQUE" that was held at Spicy Fingers, Greenbelt 2, Makati. I headed to the venue straight from my workplace on the day of the event. That day was a very busy day for me as I also organized our company's Halloween Party in the afternoon of the same day. I was informed by Ms. Rachelle Calalang that I can tag along a friend. My friends were not available at that time so I asked my mom to accompany me at the events place. Fifteen (15) bloggers of different categories were invited to the event and I was lucky to be one of those as I got to know more about the most popular Classified Ad website in the Philippines, Sulit.com.ph.

As I have entered the venue, the first that caught my eyes were balloons with letters SULIT CLIQUE.

Before the program started, Sulit Marketing Staff gave time to sit down and talk with bloggers wherein they asked for feedbacks and suggestions to improve Sulit.com.ph 

The whole event was hosted by Ms.Gelli Victor.

The opening remarks was given by none other than CEO of Sulit.com.ph, Mr. RJ David.

My Review:

I can say that Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream is the best BB Cream I have tried so far. I purchased this BB Cream in Korea a month ago and of all the 5 available shades of this BB Cream, I chose #21 Light Beige because it's the shade closer to my skin tone. It's a good make-up and skincare product especially for ladies like me who want to achieve a flawless make-up look. This BB Cream is easy to apply and it blends well on my skin. I just use my fingers when applying this product all over my face. It's good for everyday use because it is lightweight and it doesn't clog pores. It gives you a natural look or no make-up flawless look if you use the BB Cream alone. I guess the 50ml tube size of this BB Cream will last for a year because you just need a pea-sized amount of it to cover your entire face. When I apply this BB Cream, I feel that my face is moisturized. It provides soothing and moisturizing cream properties. It can also cover and conceal your blemishes with good skin coverage. Another thing I like about this BB Cream is, it stays or lasts long especially when I finish it with compact powder. My face didn't get too oily and I almost didn't do any retouches on my face the whole day when using this BB Cream. M Perfect Cover BB Cream is also suitable for all skin types even for people who have sensitive skin. After using this BB Cream for a month, it didn't give me any breakouts or allergic reactions on my face. Oh, I have so many good things to say about this BB Cream. No wonder why this BB cream is Missha's best seller and it's one of the best and recommended BB Creams in Korea. I am loving this BB Cream and I will definitely continue using this product because it's a very good make-up and skincare product that a woman must include in daily regimen. I love how multi-functional this BB Cream is. For me, this BB Cream is excellent because aside from whitening and anti-aging properties, it has also high UV Protection (SPF 42 PA+++). I recommend this product for ladies looking for a multi-function BB Cream. I am sure that you will also love this BB Cream as much as I do.

Before I applied Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream, I washed my face first with Skin Food Tea Tree Cleansing Foam (which I will write a review soon), used toner then moisturizer on my face. I always follow this routine before I apply BB Cream to keep my skin look fresh and glowing. I also like to use a compact powder for finishing touch. It helps BB Cream stay longer on face and achieve a more flawless look. ^_^

My Package Has Finally Arrived! ♥

Hello lovelies! I am back! I am sorry for not updating my blog for a month. I have been very very busy with work. I missed blogging! ^_^ By the way, this post will be all about my experience on getting a package from Philippine post office and my happiness that finally my gift has finally gotten to me.

Who would not be happy and excited about receiving a package? Of course, I am so happy that the Package sent to me from Korea has finally arrived! Yey! This was actually sent to me as a gift for my birthday. I thought it would only take just 1 to 2 weeks but it took 3 long weeks before it got to me. I initially thought that the package will be delivered to my house but I was wrong. haha! The package was sent through Korea post so I have to get it at Philippine post office. They say Korea post has convenient and good service unlike Philippines. :( Oh no, this was my first time to get a package from Philippines post office, so I searched for some tips on the internet. Our family usually received packages through door to door delivery service so I didn't have any idea about claiming a package at post office.

Here are some useful information I found on the internet upon searching on how to claim a package at the post office:

1. The package will be ready for pick at the post office after 3 weeks or more.
2. You have to wait for the notice that will be delivered to your house by your postman. You can claim your package after receiving the notice.
3. Bring a valid ID to claim your package.
4. Prepare a custom tax fee of 40 pesos but expect that the post office staff will ask you more amount to be paid if your package is expensive.

Actually, I really got worried because upon reading some information on the net, I also saw lots of negative feed backs and comments from Filipinos who had bad experiences from Philippines post office. I just prayed and think positively that I would not encountered same experience with them. At first, I did not know what post office should I go to. Thanks to the ever helpful internet, I got to know where to claim it and the contact number where I could inquire to. The post office where I can claim my package is Novaliches post office. I called them many times. Their line was always busy but I got to contact them one time to inquire about my package. I did not receive a notice from our postman for about 3 weeks already. I'm actually worried because the sender didn't write my full name. However my full address and contact number were stated. I was glad when they told me that my package was already there. Since I have a work, I asked my mom to pick it up. I just wrote an authorization letter and gave her my 2 Valid IDs so she would not have a problem with claiming my package. I also informed her about corrupt staff and gave her some tips so she would come there prepared. haha!

My mom was able to claim my package. She paid 40 pesos for the custom tax. My mom told me that the staff opened the box and even the cute gift wrapper with ribbon because that lady was trying to look for the brand and price of my gift. She was supposed to ask for a higher amount of money from my mom for the custom tax. The lady said "Since this would be your first time to claim a package here, I would not ask you to pay more tax but next time you have to pay 1,200 pesos." I already expected that my mom would encounter this since this was the same disappointing situation some people had experienced. Anyway, I still hope that Philippine post office improve its service someday.
